Schools and Education
The Grand Rapids Public School District operates 94 elementary, middle and high schools through the city for approximately 23,400 students. The current student to teacher ratio is 16:1.
Several colleges and universities are located in Grand Rapids including Aquinas College, Calvin College, Cornerstone University, Grand Rapids Community College, Grand Valley State University, Western Michigan University, Ferris State University, Davenport University and Kendall College of Art and Design.
